According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, separation of forces in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska is “the first little success” of Ukraine, and only time and concrete steps will be able to confirm that the parties are fulfilling their obligations. This is reported by the press service of the head of state.
“It seems to me, this is the first step towards permanent ceasefire throughout the delimitation line, which took place due to unblocking of the Minsk process. I realize that only time and concrete steps can convince everyone that the parties fulfill their obligations. I do not want to promise peace tomorrow, but there is a fragile hope for the beginning of completing the hot phase of war”, Zelensky stressed.
“Let us keep calm. There is no “treason”. And, unfortunately, no victory either. But to me, it is our first small success. Congratulations”, the president said in his address.
Zelensky also called on the citizens to keep calm, avoid reacting to provocations and panic, and let the military and diplomats do their difficult job.
