Presidential decree on dissolution of Parliament challenged in Supreme Court of Ukraine

The decree of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has been challenged in the Supreme Court, 112 Ukraine reports.

The Court received a claim to recognize the decree “On the early termination of the powers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the appointment of extraordinary elections” as illegal and invalid.

The judge will make a decision on the subsequent legal proceedings
within five days from the moment of filing the application .

Recall, Zelensky set the July 21 as the date of early parliamentary elections.
