City of Lies premiere was cancelled due to shaky reputation of Johnny Depp

Studio Global Road Entertainment has postponed indefinitely the premiere of the film The City of Lies, reports Variety.

Official reasons for canceling the premiere are not named. However, information appeared on the web that such measures are connected with the shaky reputation of Johnny Depp, who plays part in the film.

Recall that earlier Journalist reported that one of the participants of the film crew sued Depp for beating. According to him, everything happened right on the site where the work on the film was conducted.
Note that the plot of the new film is based on the book Labyrinth about a policeman who investigated the deaths of rappers Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls.
