The financial result of large and medium-sized enterprises in January-June 2020 amounted to UAH 29.2 billion. According to experts, this is 7.5 times less than in the H1 of 2019, when the profitability of enterprises totaled UAH 218.1 billion, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reports.
The profit of enterprises amounted to UAH 262.4 billion, which is 10.1% more compared to January-March 2019, but losses were amounted to UAH 233.2 billion, which is 216.4% more than the same period last year.
The share of unprofitable enterprises in January-June 2020 amounted to 36.6%, while in January-June 2019 this figure was at the level of 24.9%.
