Six leading Ukrainian shoe manufacturers took part in the Toronto Shoe Show international exhibition, which was held in Toronto on Feb 20-22. The exhibition featured over 700 Canadian and European brands, the portal of the Canadian-Ukrainian trade and investment support reported.
Ukraine was represented by Belsta (Belgorod-Dniester., one of the largest Ukrainian producers of home shoes), Caman (Brovary, stylish men’s and women’s shoes, as well as specialized sports shoes), KaDar (Lutsk, casual men’s shoes), Kredo (Khmelnitsky, winter shoes on the sole made of Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), Litma (Khmelnitsky, wide selection of rubber shoes), Olteya (Zhytomyr, women’s leather shoes).
“Five of six Ukrainian manufacturers sent product samples to Canadian partners, three agreements – at the final stage. This is a remarkable achievement for companies that presented their products on the Canadian market only 6 months ago for the first time. I am very pleased with the fact that Ukrainian manufacturers overcame this path in such a short time and found customers,” says Phil Zwibel, a Canadian expert at the CUTIS project.
The Ukrainian mission at the Toronto Shoe Show 2019 is a part of the U CAN Export program of the Canadian-Ukrainian trade and investment support project.
As The Journalist reported, the Amazing Stories of Crimea exhibition will open in the Mystetsky Arsenal.
