Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko has noted that on the issue of prisoner exchange is not related to the Normandy summit. He told about this in an interview with TSN.
Pristayko said that now Moscow and Kyiv are selecting suitable candidates for the mutual exchange of prisoners, which should take place in the near future.
“This is the period of selecting suitable candidates for exchange, studying their cases and, the possibility of simultaneous release. The exchange is a phrase that is used more likely in the media, we use another phrase – simultaneous release. This is more like what both sides are really working on,” the Foreign Ministry said.
