According to the Censor.NET news agency, as of today, August 14, 4000 ATO (antiterrorist operation) participants have already received psychological assistance. This was reported by the Speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (Defense Ministry) Maksym Praut.
«As of today, 4,000 defenders of Ukraine have undergone psychological rehabilitation,» – Praut said.
It is known that 17 psychological support points were successfully installed in the rear zones of ATO. Separately were arranged 4 field hospitals.
The Defense Ministry stressed, that in the zone of military operations all serviceman have been provided with the first-aid kits.
We add that the Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak approved the relevant norms according to the standards of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) regarding the evacuation and the provision of first aid to the wounded military.
«Thus, it was established that the first medical aid should be provided directly to the battlefield within 10 minutes, then the wounded soldier is evacuated to the collecting point on an armored transport, where within an hour he must be provided with all necessary assistance,» – the report said.
