The Rapid Trident-2020 exercises involving about 4,000 militaries from 10 countries began in the Yavoriv district of the Lviv region. According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense the exercise will last until September 25.
In the period September 16 – 25, about 4,000 military men from 10 countries will be deployed in the Lviv region. The drills will involve armored vehicles and troops will practice shooting from small arms, as well as helicopters of army aviation and military aviation aircraft of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will carry out training at the sites.
The Ministry of Defense recommends not to enter in the zones indicated by signs or surrounded by auxiliary military personnel during the above period.
“Some sections of the terrain and highways on the territory of the landfill will be closed for passage,” the message reads.
