Relay race record of Ukraine set in Poltava: 839 km in 4 days

There is the newest contribution in the Book of Records of Ukraine: from June 19 to 22 the relay race was held in Poltava.

This was announced by the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership, organizer of the event.

“Poltava set the All-Ukrainian record for the longest continuous relay race: 139 participants, 851 circles the participants ran and the distance of 839 km”, a representative of the Ukrainian Book of Records said.

It is noted that the police also took part in the relay race.

“In particular, the police officers from the Poltava region (Viacheslav Antonenko, Andrii Muliavka and Dmytro Dobriak), along with the retired (Stanislav Romas, Anton Tonkonog and Oleksandr Kostrubiak) made their sporting contribution to the overall result, which got into the Book of Records of Ukraine”, as the message reports.

As reported by The Journalist, local residents of Zhytomyr oblast set a new record for Ukraine.
