Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman discussed with the leadership of the world’s leading multinational automobile manufacturer Renault (France) the possibility of placing the production of the group’s cars in Ukraine.
This the Prime Minister reported on his Facebook page with a link to a meeting with company executives.
«Now we are discussing the possibility of placing the production of Renault Group cars in Ukraine. These include additional jobs and the expansion of export opportunities. I am confident that Ukraine can become a regional hub of automobile production. We already have excellent examples of the work of enterprises that produce both knots and parts and finished products to the Ukrainian and European markets», wrote Groysman.
The prime minister recalled that he proposed to the Verkhovna Rada jointly to draft a bill that would simplify the process of attracting investors to auto production.
«This would not only give an impetus to the development of the entire industry, but would also remove the problem of the excessive cost of machinery and the delivery of those «eurocars», Groysman stressed.
