Dniproazot, a unique producer of liquid chlorine in Ukraine, is ready to resume work on condition that prices for products will increase. This was reported by the press service of the Dniprozot company.
The source reports that the plant has been halted down completely, but the chlorine production equipment is in working order and ready for resumption of production at any time. But it is reguire to raise prices for manufactured products.
«According to information from ProZorro website, the new price for chlorine, which the company proposes to set, corresponds to the average market price in 2018, calculated per one ton of chlorine,» — the message said.
It is noted that the economic justification for the need to price increase was sent to the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine and has been under consideration for two weeks.
«The JSC Dniproazot is ready now to conclude direct contracts (without intermediary enterprises) for the supply of liquid chlorine. These contracts will come into force immediately after receiving explanations from the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine,» – the company said.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, Deputy Director of the European business Association Svetlana Mikhailovskaya said that Carlsberg Ukraine, Coca-Cola Ukraine and PepsiCo are stopping production in Ukraine because of a halt to chemical plant Dniproazot’s work.
