The single electronic ticket for Kyiv municipal transport will be introduced in test mode on November 1.
«We are on the final stage before launching a single e-ticket for public transport. Testing of the system will starts on November 1, and will resolve the issue of a its full-scale launch. So far, 1,500 validators have been installed in public transport,» the KCSA reported.
The necessary equipment will be installed in all public transport by November, UNIAN reported.
«The number of validators in a single vehicle will be different and depends on the number of the vehicle’s doors,» added the department.
Details on the launch of the electronic ticket will be bublished in the coming days during the presentation of the new fare collection system.
As The Journalist reported, the express train to Borispol airport will start running in November 2018.
