At least 285 measles cases were registered among the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the period from Jan 1 to Feb 7, 2019, UNN reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the experts of the Service of Preventive Healthcare of the Ministry of Defense and the medical service of the military unit take all necessary anti-epidemic measures.
In particular, all military personnel under the risk of measles have been vaccinated; military personnel will be closely monitored for next 21 days from the moment of hospitalization.
