Oleg Sentsov, on the eve of October 6, stopped the hunger strike, began work on writing a script for a film about a prison. The deputy director of Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia (FSIN) Valeriy Maksymenko reported this in an interview for Izvestia writes Ukrinform.
«He has already started writing the script for the future film. This will be a story about life in prison and prisoners. Inspiration does not leave him», said Maksymenko.
Maksymenko reported that Sentsov is now going on a hunger strike under the supervision of specialists.
«He eats a little bit of mostly porridge and dairy products», said the deputy director of Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.
Sentsov will roughly return to normal prison food in 20 days.
Recall, Ukrainian director was convicted in Russia in August 2015 to 20 years in prison in a strict regime colony on trumped-up charges of planning terrorist attacks in the Russian annexed Crimea.
On May 14 of this year, Sentsov announced an indefinite hunger strike demanding the release of all Ukrainian political prisoners who unfairly serve their sentences in prisons and colonies of the Russian Federation.
On October 6, Sentsov was forced to stop the hunger strike due to the high probability of using force-feeding on him. The captive of Kremlin went hungry for 145 days.
As previously reported by The Journalist, the EU insists on the immediate release of Sentsov.
