European People’s Party nominated the candidacy of Oleg Sentsov, who was illegally sentenced in Russia for European Parliament’s Prize for Freedom of Opinion, named after Andrei Sakharov.
This is stated in message of political group European People’s Party in the European Parliament on Twitter.
«Ukrainian filmmaker illegally imprisoned in Russia, Oleg Sentsov is our candidate for Sakharov Prize in 2018», report said.
As The Journalist reported in Moscow another action was held in support of Sentsov
