Director of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the Kyiv City State Administration, Yuriy Nazarov, said that the old fare payment system in transport will work until October 30, Ukrinform reports.
It is reported that single e-ticket for all public transport in Kyiv to be introduced from November 1 this year.
According to Nazarov, e-ticket tests will last until October 30 of this year.
“Every day we fixed more than 50,000 paid trips made with the use of Kyiv Smart Card or QR-code. We have sold over 15,000 Kyiv Smart Cards at the moment,” said Nazarov.
As The Journalist reported, ticket offices in the Kyiv subway will be closed after the introduction of e-ticket in the capital.
