Head of the Ukrainian Parliament Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information Policy Issues, Viktoria Syumar, told that the Security Service of Ukraine has prepared submissions on some journalists, accredited in the Verkhovna Rada. This is reported by «112 Ukraine» news agency.
According to Syumar, the Security Service of Ukraine has prepared submissions on journalists, according to which some of them are recording certain video materials and send them to Russian mass media.
«This is secret information, but I have access to it, I studied it. Further, something is mounted there, things, which sometimes provoke the MPs into certain reactions: when you want to respond in a wrong way when you are asked really provocative questions. The attention is drawn to these people», – the message says.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, the European Commission can introduce monitoring of the state of freedom of speech in Ukraine for the period of elections.
