Some 11 health workers in Kyiv became ill with coronavirus over past day

The mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klitschko, said that over the past 24 hours, 52 people have become ill with coronavirus in the capital, including 11 health workers. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

“Another 52 people, including 11 health workers have laboratory-confirmed coronavirus over the past 24 hours. As of May 1, there are already 1,453 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the capital,” Klitschko said.

According to him, among women ill with COVID-19, 33 aged 20 to 88, and 2 girls are four and seven years old. There are also 14 men aged 20 to 60 old, and 3 boys from seven to sixteen years old.

Over the past day, 5 people recovered from coronavirus.
