Some 132 localities in seven oblasts of Ukraine were de-energized amid deteriorating weather conditions including heavy rain, wind and hail, as the press service of the State Emergency Service reported.
In total, 64 localities in Kyiv Oblast were left without electricity, 26 localities in Zakarpattia Oblast, 16 localities in Sumy Oblast, 12 localities in Ternopil Oblast, 8 localities in Zhytomyr Oblast, 5 localities in Kirovohrad Oblast and one in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Regional energy distribution companies deployed their repair teams to tackle blackouts.
As The Journalist reported, about 96 localities in Ukraine stay without electricity due to bad weather.
