As a result of bad weather conditions, as of the morning of February 10, 62 settlements in 5 regions remain de-energized, the press service of the State Emergencies Service reports.
“As a result of difficult weather conditions the automatic protection systems of power lines get triggered and de-energized 62 settlements in five regions. Namely: Kherson – 21, Chernivtsi – 20, Zakarpattia – 9, Kyiv – 6 and Odesa – 6,” the message says.
Regional energy distribution companies deployed repair teams to tackle blackout and restore power supply.
According to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center, February 10, snow is expected almost the entire territory of Ukraine, in some regions with rain, ice.
