Measles outbreak occurred in the National Guard of Ukraine

Measles outbreak recorded among servicemen of the unit of the National Guard of Ukraine in the village of Zherebkovo (Ananievsky district, Odessa region). This was reported by the press service of Ananievsky District state Administration.

It became known that two servicemen were taken to hospital with suspected measles. In addition, 16 more servicemen of the unit who have been diagnosed measles earlier are already preparing for discharge from hospital.
Recall that in Ukraine since the beginning of 2018 to mid-May, more than 15 thousand people were get sick with measles. During this time, eight people died from desease complications: six children and two adults.
As «The Journalist» for the past week 1300 people were confirmed as having measles in Ukraine.
