Dnipro Petro Laiko stadium will be reconstructed to host the European level competitions and will meet the standards of international athletics federations. The Mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, announced this during the inspection of the object on April 4.
According to Filatov, the stadium will be rebuilt again: only part of the underground communications will stay untouched. The surrounding area and access roads will also be put in order after completion of construction work at the stadium.
The stadium will have football fields, eight treadmills with asphalt concrete pavement, which can be covered with a special Swiss-made polyurethane coating. Also at the stadium for the first time in Ukraine will be constructed special surface drainage systems. In addition, there will be installed 2,100 comfortable seats. In the near future, an automatic irrigation system and lay a natural lawn for a football field will be made at the stadium.
As The Journalist reported, Zaporizhia authorities pledged a stadium to complete the construction of the airport terminal.
