More than 1,000 road accidents were recorded over the past 24 hours in Ukraine. This was announced by the Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan on his Facebook page.
During the day in Ukraine were recorded more than 1000 accidents including 498 in Kyiv. It is noted that 30% of drivers did not change summer tires to winter. In addition, only 46% of the drivers, involved in the accident, were fastened.
«At least half of these deaths, injuries, an accident could be avoided if everyone spent a second of time at the beginning of the journey and fastened a seat belt, and an hourly time in half a year to timely re-mounted seasonal tires. Take care of yourself!» noted Omelyan.
