In 2018, Ukrainians purchased twice as much electric vehicle as in 2017. In particular, we are talking about the purchase of 5.3 thousand vehicles. About this reports association Ukravtoprom.

“In the structure of the primary market of cars operating solely on electric, vehicles with mileage continue to dominate, whose share was 83.5%. It should be noted that the dynamics of demand for new electric cars showed a higher result than the old cars. If the initial registrations of used electric cars have doubled, the same indicator for new cars has increased 2.2 times,” the message says.

It is noted that the most popular among Ukrainians is the NISSAN Leaf car, which covered 64% of the primary electric car market. During the year, 3 thousand 378 cars of this model received Ukrainian registration. Of this amount, 94% of the cars were with foreign mileage.
Ukrainians took second place with the BMW i3, TESLA Model S third, fourth – MERCEDES-BENZ B-Class Electric Drive, fifth – RENAULT Zoe – 142 pcs.
