The Chairman of the State Border Service, Serhiy Deineko, on the air of 1+1 TV channel has said that since March 16, 2020, 160,000 citizens had returned to Ukraine from all available destinations – by air, rail, or by car.
According to Deineka, about 17,000 have declared their intention to return to Ukraine. It is also assumed that another 200,000 Ukrainians may return before Easter holidays.
The chairman of the State Border Service stated that 10,000 citizens crossed the border over the past day.
“In the past three days, law enforcers drawn up seven administrative protocols against people for violation of self-isolation rules,” Deineko said.
