State of emergency introduced in Lysychansk due to lack of public water supply

On October 21, a state of emergency was introduced in Lysychansk (Luhansk Oblast) after Lugansk Energy Association LLC was disconnected from electricity, the press service of the Lysychansk City Council reported.

This decision was made at a meeting of the local commission on technological environmental safety and emergency situations. The main agenda of the meeting was the emergency situation at the Lysychanskvodokanal facilities.

It was decided to change the work schedules of educational and cultural institutions.

The work of social infrastructure facilities, hospitals can be temporarily stopped.

Local authorities are also preparing letters to the relevant structures, President Volodymyr Zelensky and the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Oleksiy Honcharuk.
