The State Tax Service (STS) of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Finance have developed and launched an electronic service that will verify the authenticity of excise stamps. This was reported by the STS press service.
The service will help to verify the legality and the origin of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, as well as to exercise public control over the circulation of excisable goods.
“The service makes it possible to independently determine the issue date of the excise tax stamp, as well as the business entity that received it,” the tax authorities say.
