NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Ukrainian planes provides air transportation for NATO countries during the coronavirus pandemic. This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the NATO Secretary General, the Ukrainian An-124 Ruslan and An-225 Mriya aircraft demonstrate NATO-Ukraine cooperation.
Stoltenberg noted that the North Atlantic Alliance is now considering further enhancing cooperation.
“There are Ukrainian planes that helps NATO to provide strategic transportation. I saw these planes, they are huge. They have extraordinary power. For a long time these aircraft have been very important to transport medical equipment from China around the world to NATO countries in Europe. Therefore, yes, we work with Ukraine and welcome close cooperation with Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said.
