The militants in occupied Donbas do not allow youth from traveling to universities in Ukraine-controlled territory. This was reported by the journalist and representative of the Donetsk region in the TCG Denys Kazansky on his Facebook page.
He said that “a lot of young people who want to break out of the reservation” live in the occupied territory.
“Admission to a Ukrainian university is their chance to leave the ghetto. But after Ukraine canceled IET (external independent evaluation) for children from ORDLO, the militants were afraid that they would lose youth and closed and forbidden youth to leave occupied territory under the pretext of quarantine,” Kazansky wrote on his Facebook page and attached a screenshot of one of the applicants.
According to the blogger, permission to cross the demarcation line is issued by the so-called “interagency headquarters of the DPR”, which issues it only for those who have a residence permit in the controlled territory.
