Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said that Iranian delegation would arrive in Ukraine to negotiate compensation for relatives of victims of the Ukrainian plane downed near Tehran in January 2020, European Truth reports.
“Yesterday we received information that the Iranian delegation is ready to arrive in Ukraine this week to negotiate with us on compensation. We insisted on such a visit for a long time, we are ready for negotiations and expect that today Iran will officially confirm the visit of its representatives, and such negotiations will take place in Kyiv this week,” Kuleba said.
Kuleba noted that for Ukraine and other countries whose citizens were also killed in plane crash, justice regarding the victims and their relatives and friends is a fundamental goal.
