On February 3, he defense ministers of Ukraine and Turkey signed an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on military-financial cooperation. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
“Today, an important agreement on military-financial cooperation has been adopted. It provides financial assistance from Turkish partners for the Ukrainian army. We are sincerely grateful for this,” Zelensky said.
According to the agreement, the Turkish side will allocate 200 million Turkish liras (about USD 36 million) for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, namely for the purchase of Turkish military and dual-use items.
