The President of the European Council Donald Tusk yesterday, July 7, together with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, visited Stanytsia Luhanska and more than half a kilometer deep in the disengagement area beyond the zero position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Summing up his trip, Tusk wrote on his Twitter that the situation in the east of Ukraine causes disastrous humanitarian consequences for the local population.
Tusk also noted that the local population in the east of Ukraine fell into the trap of the Russian war.
“Today I visited Stanytsia Luhanska with President Zelensky. The tragedy in eastern Ukraine continues, with catastrophic humanitarian consequences for the local population trapped in the Russian war”, he noted.
