25 Kyiv schools closed for quarantine because of flu

Some 25 schools are partially or completely closed in Kyiv due to influenza and ARVI. This was announced by Kyiv City State Administration.
It is noted that the incidence level in Kiev increased by 12.1%. About 14,653 patients with influenza and ARVI were registered in the Ukraine’s capital: 8,386 children and 6,267 adults. Among all sick children, 43.9% are schoolchildren. 162 people were hospitalized in medical institutions over the past week, 127 of them were children.
In connection with the current situation, the educational process in 11 Kyiv schools was completely suspended, and partially suspended in 14 Kyiv schools.
