First rural outpatient clinic was built in Kirovohrad Oblast (Ukraine)

The first outpatient clinic was opened in the village of Protopopivka (Kirovohrad Oblast), in the framework of the implementation of the rural medicine reform. This is reported by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko.

In the process of implementation of the law of Ukraine on Increasing the Accessibility and Quality of Medical Care in Rural Areas, at least 513 construction projects of rural dispensaries were approved. About UAH 2.7 billion are allocated еo implement the project in all Oblasts of Ukraine. 497 vehicles will be purchased for outpatient clinics.
The construction of 81 facilities has been started as of November 7, 2018.
Note that the Vice Prime Minister has urged the Oblasts authorities to speed up the pace of construction.
