During the special operation, law enforcement officers stopped activity of an international criminal group that was involved in the distribution of narcotic substances. This was reported by the press service of the General Directorate of the National Police.
The police detained the organizator of the drug trafficking scheme and his accomplices. During the special operation, law enforcement officers managed to confiscate more than six kilograms of cocaine worth UAH 30 million.
«A 42-year-old Turkish national set up the smuggling and provided illegal supplies of cocaine to Ukraine. He attracted to cooperation another Turkish citizen, who temporarily resided in Kyiv region. The figurant acted as a coordinator, in particular he was engaged in seeking out for routes of cocaine supplies, managing logistics and provided safe communication between couriers and foreign drug dealers,» – the message said.
It is established that gang also included Ukrainian, resident of Odesa region. All members of the international drug trafficking group have been arrested. According to the law, they now face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
As «The Journalist» reported, fake rehabilitation center treated drug-dependent patients with prayers, and close them in the basement for offenses.
