Military helicopter pilots’ studies are launched in Poltava oblast

In Poltava oblast, flight-methodological training camps of the Army Aviation of the Ground Forces Armed Forces of Ukraine started. About it reports press service of Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Over the course of the week, almost one hundred pilots will improve their flying skills on upgraded Mi-8 MSB-B and Mi-2 MSB-B helicopters, which have recently been replenished by the Army Aviation fleet.
Pilots will perform a variety of flight tasks in simple and complex meteorological conditions; will train to interact with aircraft operators, engineering staff and aerodrome technical support units.

“They checked the piloting technique and instructor-methodical skills, because these pilots will be instructors for subordinates during the year. Without exception, all demonstrated truly filigree aerobatics. Therefore, the conclusion is unequivocal: the skill of the aircrew is constantly growing, and all the commanders are ready to train the aircrew,” said the head of Army Aviation of Ground Forces Command of Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Ihor Yaremenko.
