The United States allocated USD 15.5 million in medical and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine to combat coronavirus. This was reported by the press service of the U.S. Department of State.
The U.S. Department of State believes that this help should improve the ability of health facilities to provide care to patients and combat the further spread of COVID-19 while expanding public relations to reduce the risk of infection.
It is also reported that USD 2.4 million in humanitarian aid will be used to support vulnerable groups during the coronavirus pandemic.
