Ukraine has won the tender to repair and modernize of 17 MI-17 helicopters of the Turkish Gendarmerie. This was posted by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov on his Twitter.
USD 40 million tender is envisaged for repairing of MI-17 helicopters of the Turkish Gendarmerie. Repairment will be carried out by Motor-Sich Company and by repair plant in Konotop, where 17 helicopters will be modernized and repaired.
«We have a unique competence in the aircraft repair sphere. Cooperation with Turkey is our strategy,» – Avakov stressed.
As The Journalist reported earlier, one of the auction participants had blocked a tender for the construction of a metro station on Vinohradar district in Kyiv.
