Victoria Amelina was nominated for the European Union Literature Prize for the novel “Home for the House” (“Staryi Lev”, 2017), Markiyan Kamysh for the novel “Chermet” (“Nora-Druk”, 2017), and Gaska Shiyan for her new the novel “Behind the Back” (publishing house “Fabula”, 2019).
It should be noted that Ukraine this year for the first time joined the European Union Literary Award. Winners of the Prize from all participating countries will be announced on May 22.
