Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Oleh Koval said that the Ministry of Social Policy expects to transfer paper sick leaves into electronic form by April 2020.
“We are counting on the introduction of an electronic sick leave, which, in accordance with a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, is planned to be implemented before April. The deadline is now set: two months – January and February, and I think that in March we’ll come to some result,” Koval said.
According to the deputy minister, the implementation of these plans will allow the state to save from UAH 1 billion to UAH 4 billion per year.
“We are counting on saving, saving the budget of the Social Insurance Fund from UAH 1 billion to UAH 4 billion as a result of the introduction of the electronic sick leave system,” UNIAN quotes Koval, as saying.
