According to the Center for Public Health, as of August 11, Ukraine recorded new 1,158 coronavirus cases.
In total, 83,115 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine, of which 44,934 patients have been recovered, 1,951 cases were lethal. Some 1,195,561 PCR tests were conducted since pandemic started. In total, 575 patients were discharged over past day.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 3,002 cases in Vinnytsia region; 4,375 in Volyn region; 1,571 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 982 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 2,178 in Zhytomyr region; 5,875 in Zakarpattia region; 959 in Zaporizhia region; 5,911 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 725 in Kirovohrad region; 9,687 in the city of Kyiv; 4,239 in Kyiv region; 11,142 in Lviv region; 157 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 729 in Mykolayiv region; 4,364 in Odesa region; 503 in Poltava region; 7,018 in Rivne region; 702 in Sumy region; 3,375 in Ternopil region; 5,030 in Kharkiv region; 271 in Kherson region; 1,376 in Khmelnytsky region; 6,867 in Chernivtsi region; 1,039 in Cherkasy region; 1,038 in Chernihiv region.
Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available.
