On December 2, Ukraine reported 14,496 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed. At the same time, 15,372 people recovered. This was announced by the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov.
In total, over the past day, 72,678 coronavirus tests were carried out. Of these, 47,172 by PCR method and 25,506 by ELISA method.
Most of all new cases were recorded in the city of Kyiv (1,365), Zaporizhzhia (1,060), Odesa (935), Kyiv (924) and Kharkiv (906) regions.
At least 745 children and 614 health workers fell ill.
Also over the past day:
- 1,739 people were hospitalized.
For the entire time of the epidemic in Ukraine, 772,760 people fell ill, while 384,426 people recovered, thus 388,335 cases remain active.
