Ukraine reported 1,464 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.
As of August 17, 2020, Ukraine has 92,820 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases, of which 48,164 patients have been recovered, 2,089 cases were lethal.
Some 342 patients recovered from coronavirus during the day.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 3,235 cases in Vinnytsia region; 4,707 in Volyn region; 1,750 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 1,094 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 2,479 in Zhytomyr region; 6,329 in Zakarpattia region; 1,118 in Zaporizhia region; 6,790 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 743 in Kirovohrad region; 10,642 in the city of Kyiv; 4,554 in Kyiv region; 12,079 in Lviv region; 184 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 819 in Mykolayiv region; 5,062 in Odesa region; 557 in Poltava region; 7,716 in Rivne region; 891 in Sumy region; 3,817 in Ternopil region; 6,156 in Kharkiv region; 301 in Kherson region; 1,618 in Khmelnytsky region; 7,782 in Chernivtsi region; 1,165 in Cherkasy region; 1,233 in Chernihiv region.
Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available.
