December 17, Ukraine reported 12,630 coronavirus cases. At least 2,904 people were hospitalized yesterday, most of all new cases recorded in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa regions. The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov announced this on his Facebook page.
Over the past day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv city (1658), Zaporizhzhya (1022), Odesa (925), Kyiv (922) and Cherkasy (583) regions.
Yesterday, 68,759 tests for coronavirus were done (in particular, by PCR – 42,340, ELISA – 26,419).
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 944,381 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Ukraine, 561,222 recovered.
