On September 4, Ukraine reported a new record 2,723 coronavirus cases, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) informs.
The highest number of new cases were recorded in Kharkiv (+371), Odesa (+225), Lviv (+196) regions and the city of Kyiv (+319), followed by Ternopil region (+204), and Chernivtsi region (+162).
The previous maximum number of infection cases per day was recorded two days ago and totaled 2,495.
To date, there are 130,951 cases of coronavirus in Ukraine.
Of these, 60,613 people recovered, another 2,761 patients died.
Over the past day, 51 people have died.
