According to the Center for Public Health, as of September 23, Ukraine reported 3,497 new coronavirus cases. The number of active patients reached 99,359.
In total, there are 184,734 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine, of which 81,670 patients have been recovered, 3,705 have died. About 2,102,377 PCR tests were performed. Some 1,769 patients were discharged per day.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 5,455 cases in Vinnytsia region; 7,132 in Volyn region; 4,394 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 2,635 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 5,191 in Zhytomyr region; 9,343 in Zakarpattia region; 3,149 in Zaporizhia region; 12,811 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 1,024 in Kirovohrad region; 20,335 in the city of Kyiv; 8,148 in Kyiv region; 19,045 in Lviv region; 814 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 2,643 in Mykolaiv region; 12,130 in Odesa region; 1,630 in Poltava region; 11,459 in Rivne region; 3,280 in Sumy region; 12,069 in Ternopil region; 15,908 in Kharkiv region; 868 in Kherson region; 5,049 in Khmelnytsky region; 13,448 in Chernivtsi region; 3,238 in Cherkasy region; 3,537 in Chernihiv region.
Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available.
