January 18, Ukraine reported 3,939 cases of coronavirus. At the same time, 15,052 patients recovered. This was stated by the Minister of Health.
Most of the new infections were recorded in Kyiv city (637), Odesa (453), Zaporizhzhia (449), Kharkiv (237) and Cherkasy (208) regions. Among the sick are 131 children and 238 health workers. Also, 801 patients were hospitalized.
A total of 33,500 coronavirus tests were carried out. Of these, 18,735 PCR, ELISA – 14,670.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,167,655 people have already been infected in the country, 886,248 have recovered, 21,046 have died. Some 281,407 people remain active.
