January 17, Ukraine reported 3,035 cases of coronavirus, which is the lowest result since September 28, when 2,671 new cases were recorded. This was announced by the Minister of Health on Facebook.
Most of all new infections were confirmed in Kyiv city (301), Zaporizhzhia (266), Kyiv (240) and Dnipropetrivsk (220) regions. Among the infected are 107 children and 87 health workers. 1,305 people were hospitalized.
In total, 13,247 tests for coronavirus were carried out per day (10,401 PCR, 2,846 ELISA).
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,163,716 people have already been infected in Ukraine, 871,196 (+5,236) recovered, 20,869 (+67) died. Some 292,520 patients remain active.
