According to the Center for Public Health, as of October 2, Ukraine reported 4,633 new cases of coronavirus. The number of active patients is 116,809.
In total, there are 217,661 laboratory confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ukraine, of which 96,591 patients have been recovered, 4,261 have died. At least 2,337,942 PCR tests were performed. Some 2,193 patients were discharged per day.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 6,452 cases in Vinnytsia region; 8,325 in Volyn region; 6,422 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 3,650 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 6,265 in Zhytomyr region; 10,004 in Zakarpattia region; 4,284 in Zaporizhia region; 13,968 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 1,141 in Kirovohrad region; 23,602 in the city of Kyiv; 9,428 in Kyiv region; 20,826 in Lviv region; 1,140 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 3,369 in Mykolaiv region; 14,069 in Odesa region; 2,512 in Poltava region; 12,770 in Rivne region; 4,677 in Sumy region; 13,996 in Ternopil region; 19,588 in Kharkiv region; 1,250 in Kherson region; 6,432 in Khmelnytsky region; 14,787 in Chernivtsi region; 4,295 in Cherkasy region; 4,409 in Chernihiv region.
Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available.
