According to the Center for Public Health, as of October 7, Ukraine reported 5,397 new cases of coronavirus. The number of active patients is 131,809.
In total, there are 244,734 laboratory confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ukraine, of which 108,233 patients have been recovered, 4,690 have died. At least 2,489,702 PCR tests were performed. Some 2,263 patients were discharged per day.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 7,197 cases in Vinnytsia region; 9,199 in Volyn region; 7,994 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 5,118 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 7,457 in Zhytomyr region; 10,473 in Zakarpattia region; 5,007 in Zaporizhzhia region; 14,693 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 1,235 in Kirovohrad region; 25,896 in the city of Kyiv; 10,490 in Kyiv region; 21,923 in Lviv region; 1,480 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 4,154 in Mykolaiv region; 15,704 in Odesa region; 3,685 in Poltava region; 13,798 in Rivne region; 6,197 in Sumy region; 14,979 in Ternopil region; 22,712 in Kharkiv region; 1,636 in Kherson region; 7,732 in Khmelnytsky region; 15,758 in Chernivtsi region; 5,153 in Cherkasy region; 5,067 in Chernihiv region.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
